Safforia DMC (“Safforia”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use safforiadmc.com or plan a journey with us, how we use it and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where they apply to you, and Vietnam’s personal data protection law.

What we collect

• Details you give us when you enquire or book: your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, travel dates, party size, interests, budget and anything you tell us in your message.
• Details needed to arrange your journey, such as passport information, dates of birth, dietary requirements and relevant health or mobility information (which we only collect with your consent).
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Information about how you use our website, collected through analytics cookies — only if you accept them.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare itineraries and quotes (to take steps at your request before a contract).
• To book and deliver your journey, and to support you while you travel (to perform our contract with you).
• To send our newsletter, if you have asked us to (your consent — you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To understand and improve our website (your consent, via our cookie banner).
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with the hotels, cruise operators, drivers, guides and other suppliers who deliver your journey, most of whom are in Vietnam and Cambodia. We also use trusted service providers to run our business, such as email delivery and website hosting. We never sell your information.

International transfers

Because our team and suppliers are in Vietnam and Cambodia, your information will be transferred outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses, or rely on the transfer being necessary to deliver the journey you have booked.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our advertising. These are only loaded if you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to two years if you do not book, and booking records for up to seven years to meet legal and accounting requirements. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, ask us to transfer it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@safforiadmc.com. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); elsewhere, to your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
