Vietnam

From the mountains of the north to the islands of the south

Why Vietnam

Vietnam is long and narrow, and each region feels like a different country: misty mountains and karst bays in the north, imperial history and lantern-lit towns in the centre, and the energy of Saigon and the slow green waterways of the Mekong in the south.

We live here, so we plan around the seasons, the crowds and the details that make a journey feel effortless.

When to go

There is good weather somewhere in Vietnam all year. The north is best from March to May and September to November, the centre from February to August, and the south from December to April.

Visas

Many visitors can apply online for a Vietnamese e-visa, and some nationalities can visit visa-free for a limited stay. Rules change, so check the official government portal before booking flights.
