Terms and booking conditions

About us

These terms apply to journeys arranged by Safforia DMC, a tour operator based in Tân Bình, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Your contract is with Safforia DMC.

Your booking

A booking is confirmed when we have received your deposit and issued a written confirmation. Please check your confirmation carefully and let us know straight away if anything is incorrect. The lead traveller accepts these terms on behalf of everyone in the party.

Quotes and payment

• Every journey is quoted individually. Quotes exclude international flights unless stated.
• Your confirmed cost will be set out in your itinerary and quotation.
• A deposit of 25% of the total cost is payable to confirm your booking.
• The balance is due 60 days before your arrival. For bookings made within 60 days, full payment is due on booking.

Changes by you

We will always try to help if you wish to change your arrangements after booking. Changes may incur supplier charges and an administration fee, which we will confirm before making them.

Cancellation by you

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply, as a percentage of the total cost:

• More than 60 days before arrival: loss of deposit
• 60 to 31 days before arrival: 50%
• 30 to 15 days before arrival: 75%
• 14 days or fewer before arrival: 100%

Some hotels and cruises, particularly over Christmas, New Year and Tết, have stricter conditions; we will tell you about these before you book.

Changes and cancellation by us

Occasionally we may need to make changes to your arrangements. If a significant change is necessary, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer a comparable alternative or a full refund. We will not cancel your journey after confirmation except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control, in which case we will refund all money paid to us.

Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses and repatriation is a condition of booking.

Passports, visas and health

You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visa and any required vaccinations. We are happy to advise, but cannot be responsible if you are refused entry.

Our responsibility

We take care in selecting the suppliers who deliver your journey and will provide the services we have agreed with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes or government action.

Complaints

If anything is not right during your journey, please tell us straight away so we can put it right. If you remain unhappy, write to us at hello@safforiadmc.com within 28 days of your return.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and the courts of Ho Chi Minh City have jurisdiction.
